We're seeking a Regulatory Specialist to meticulously research FDA guidelines and federal regulations overseeing food, drug, or cosmetic products, ensuring our clients' compliance. As a Regulatory Specialist, you'll engage directly with clients, conducting regulatory research on FDA-regulated items.

What you will do

  • Conduct regulatory research related to FDA-regulated products (i.e., food, beverages, medical devices, cosmetics, and drugs)
  • Draft client reports that explain the regulations that govern products under review and identify any potential compliance issues
  • Prepare, verify, and/or maintain technical files pertaining to submissions or other FDA-required activities throughout the product lifecycle
  • Utilize the scientific method and modes of analysis to conduct product research
  • Communicate directly with clients including foreign manufacturers who export to the USA

 

Who you are

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a scientific discipline or other writing and research-intensive field of study
  • 1-2 years of experience in a research or compliance-related field is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to analyze various components of food, processing, and packaging and properly interpret and report results
  • Ability to effectively manage large amounts of information for analysis and process/program improvements
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills with capability to support multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • One (1) writing sample depicting literary analysis.
  • One (1) scientific research report, research paper, or article depicting use of the scientific method.
